A: The Sony DCR-HC52 has a 4-pin DV refuge. Your computer needs to have a firewire port.
You need to connect the camcorder's DV harbour to the computer's firewire port. USB won't work...

This is a fantabulous camera to start out with, the unsophisticatedness of Mini DV tapes makes this a paraphernalia value pick. DVD camcorders in this amount collection suffer from bad battery-operated mortal, and disk errors that can provide your disks ineffective. The Mini DV tapes are tried and staunch.

The other affair that I can’t investigate is that none of these minidv camcorders progress with the firewire evidence strand. It seems like including an 8 dollar guy wouldn’t be that bloody-minded, Sony afterall bundles the software needed to conveyance the video to your PC.
