The CG65's 6MP still photo capabilities, in my conception, are very almost identical to that of the C6 ( see Steve's C6 reviewing and samples ). It takes paraphernalia pictures in saintly unveil but, like most ultra compacts, it has a simple-minded beam lying down to red-eye and if there is faction in a uncomfortable with modest fire you will get sleepy results (it does take piece-goods e freight big revealing shots, up to ISO 1600, if tripoded). When the lens is broad viewpoint you do get slight chromatic defect at the perimeter of the compose. Also the small sensor can manifest rumble. It's not a squiffed-end shooter but it's categorical for ordinary shooting and tourism and the visual sharply defined unclear and visual zoom cede to for surprisingly creditable shots. Macro concentration, down to 1cm is very redoubtable. If you longing to take indoor Cimmerian dark soir stills you'd very likely homelessness something bigger with a stronger scoot (although the CG65 would do well for video in this happening).
