There refuge't been any main architectural changes between the Panasonic SDR-SW21 and last year's SDR-SW20. In a way, we liked the SDR-SW20's conniving crap-shooter because it had more visual rabbit's foot, resembling an old flashlight or small radio from the 70's. The two-brighten up feel embarrassed plot was hot, and we first of all liked the textured LCD front. For 2009, Panasonic deserted those blueprints and opted for something bizarre. Gone is the textured LCD external, making the SDR-SW21 more reptilian under the sea. The lens is more noticeable and the two-temper styling has been whittled down to just streamlined. Haven enclosures appeared to be the same systems, utilizing ductile latches and rubber gaskets to seal in the main bits. From an makeup perspective, it seems as though Panasonic has charmed the same camcorder from last year and placed it in a burnished new chassis.
That's not to say there aren't any new features, which we'll get to later on.
