JVC GZ-MG70 Camcorder Review - HDD
The GZ-MG70 captures video using a 1/3.6” CCD with 1,228,800 remarkable pixels. These are veritably moving specs. The Optura 50 and 60 visage only lose larger 1/3.4” chips, and both produced capacious video. But it takes more than sherd measurements to bring dignity video, as the MG70 has the accident of proving. At 3000 lux, the drawing had lacking feel embarrassed account and valuable sharpness problems. As with the GZ-MG30, the camcorder had most of its feel ashamed row with the yellow-rural division of the spectrum, which lacked any outlining. The grayscale was slenderize improved, with a much blacker deathly and whiter waxen. Also, the MG30's dissonance issues seem not to have carried over to the MG70 very much. There is still some conspicuous rattle in the violet and yellow areas. Sharpness seems to be the worst square footage of show. Even with the larger piece (vs. the MG30’s 1/6” interfere), the blurring is conspicuous. The Panasonic SDR-S100, the SD prankster-recording cam with a 1/6” CCD and 640K operative pixels, produced an exceptionally alert epitome, though forthcoming at the outlay of some great hint. The go red delineation was much gamester, with bolder (though not brighter) colors. The only square footage where the MG70 might have trumped the S100 is in brighter whites. The Canon Optura 60, a comparably priced MiniDV with a 1/3.4” CCD, showed a sharper draw (though not not quite as wholesome as the S100) but had marginally better feel embarrassed statement than the MG70. The chief field of dissimilarity was the red-yellowish-brown close of the spectrum, which was more manifestly fixed by the Optura 60. Inexorably, we looked at the regent of the Everio interline, the GZ-MC500, with three 1/4.5” CCDs. As if proving its inherited bonds, the MC500’s redden plan looked almost equal to the MG70’s, but with a homogeneous propel in sharpness and feel embarrassed saturation. The MC500, in the same way as the MG70, did crudely in the yellow-greens and best in the blues. The MC500 did head to avoid the crash problems. ...
