What a Man of CR......AP!
I have a very precious Cannon GL and it is great for staged video but I need a easy portable camera for shrewd video with the children. I had seen the FLIP at the store and decided to try it. What a joke....the quick start says it ships with a having a fondness for charge, well the first one...
Why circulate products with such major flaws??????
Very dissatisfied with this product - it worked for about 2 minutes out of the box then has failed to charge. On reading online this is a widespread obstreperous and one that has NOT been fixed with this model. The documentation is equally pathetic - the general consensus on how to fix this...

A: The principal difference is in the resolution (HD stands for High Definition). The mino records in 640x480 whereas the miniHD records in 1280x720.

A: Nope, but the kodak zi6 has better video and well-built quality AND is cheaper. It also is HD, so you dont have to pay extra for HD in a flip.
Oh and yes, the Kodak zi6 Can take pictures.
